Restoran Kari Asha is one of Terengganu’s famous banana leaf restaurant. It serves one of the most authentic kari you can find in Terengganu – boasting the owner as a pure Indian himself.

 

 

 

 

 

So you get the drift. Pure indian = pure curry. Not to mention pure roti canai as well. It just feels different. Really. No offense, but this is how I feel.

Today was the Sultan of Terengganu’s birthday, so we practically got holiday. Nu (3rd sis) dragged me to go breakfast – i guess she must’ve missed those old days when I sit idly at home doing nothing and I would drag them to have breakfast with me.

And I dragged nina and I found out a very funny habit of hers.

She likes to sniff her food before eating them!

Is it a disgusting habit? I guess she enjoys the crisp aroma feeling of a well-cooked roti canai – so sniffing it prior to eat is a way to work up those gastric juice – my hypothesis.

Haha~!! I caught her sniffing the roti canai! She got a bit embarrased, but being a true exhibitionist – she doesn’t mind.

GAH!! Sniff again and again! Somewhere along the process i scolded her at the habit, but she just won’t listen. Taking pictures is a way to humiliate her into stopping the habit, but it just won’t work.

My mood variatons. All the food during the holidays had been deposited around the cheek area, thank you no need to mention. And lots of sleep resulted in extra-strength black ring around the eye.
