… seems interesting enough to read.
Especially when he is being interviewed by one of independant internet news-crunchers that he once loathed due to their wide coverings of DSAI kicked out of power – MalaysiaKini.
Click here to read the interview. Or if you're not subscribed you can read it from Jeff Ooi instead. It's a continuation from the Malaysian-Singapore bridge issue that I had posted in my blog before this.
I certainly am amused to watch all this saga from afar. After all I'm not in the nation anyways.
So here it is interview with the big man himself by Malaysiakini. Owh you should really read- it's juicy enough from the topic: "I'm disappointed, says Mahathir".
According to Jeff Ooi, he is still reluctant to admit that he made mistake before when he used to be in power.
My comment: Obviously! Who would've admit that they had made mistake when they held Malaysia's no 1 position? Duh? As if YOU would admit if you had made any?
Nevertheless the effort is quite brave – to interrogate Dr Mahathir to admit his mistakes from the interview. Well done. And I am also proud of Dr Mahathir's integrity to not let out much from the interview, as perhaps he intended to keep much of the confidential issues to himself.
Oh by the way, I know that you know that Malaysia's fuel price increased. But did you hear about electricity price is increasing too?
Sigh. Increase and increase and increase! Pak Lah's comment about we have to change our lifestyle is really true indeed. I guess my parent will scold me later this summer if I use my laptop or watch the TV for too long. *letting out a triple sigh*
Cheers for all the increases in Malaysia. Hopefully all these "sacrifices" is worthy enough for Malaysia to be fully developed by 2020.
Or else? Cheers for corruption tax-payers.

Salam salam deary Mirul…
Aku jenguk2 jap blog ko nih… Terus gian nak komen sbb ada nama Dr M!!!
Hahahaha…
Padahal tengah study – terus tetiba teruja nak tinggal buku
Well… I certainly do agree with ya!
When we did wrong, it would be the hardest thing to simply admit our mistake…
Everybody's been there, done that haha…
But in Dr M's case… This is just soooo unacceptable…
People around the world have been labelling DSAI with the GAY-label…
And all of these, thanx to Mr MM of course – who else??!!
To have done something wrong is one thing…
But to have done something wrong which appeared to embarrass others and manipulate their dignity is another!! and it's even bigger!!
If we stand by the fact that it's ok for MM to shut his mouth regarding DSAI's issue…
Then we should stand by BUSH when he claims that all whatsoever he had done to IRAQ is a good and must-be-done thing…
That's that hehe… Any comment deary??
Owh about this electricity thing…
Aku tatau nak cakap apa…
I just hope people can choose their government more wisely in election 2008 hehehe…
Ihab: In my opinion, Dr M certainly has his own ideas to justify his actions towards DSAI. Yes I agree that it's a human to human sin which is clearly more dangerous compared to sin human to Allah, but yet he is a man of theories and ideas, and ever since he took power he has every reasons to support his actions.
Did you hear about DSAI is kowtowing to IMF when Malaysia suffered its financial crisis back in 1997? Rumour tinggal rumour. Nobody knows the truth just yet. Or maybe people DO know the truth tapi tunggu Dr M dah mati baru nak keluarkan semua berita sebenar kot?

Kebanyakan orang masih takut lagi dengan Dr M – dengan kuasa dia (even though it's not much now) tapi still, to make him angry is not really a wise option. DSAI made him angry and as a result he is kicked out of power, denied access to his family and financially broke.
Entahlah aku pun tak clear sangat pasal isu DSAI tu sbb time tu aku duk hostel. Tau-tau dah kecoh seantero Malaysia. I have to admit his action towards DSAI is extreme and shocking, but sometime a man got to do what a man got to do. Don't take me wrong, not supporting his actions in any way possible.
One thing for sure. BUSH and BLAIR is admitting that they DID made a mistake for the war to Iraq. Hehe. And Dr M? He is not admitting any mistakes yet *see previous entry*.
For more details on Bush's mistake, tengok la link Utusan Malaysia (even though it's not really a trustworthy source but it came from our DPM himself)

It's just so unfair, do they really know the consequence of the rise in oil price and electricity, the major factor input of economy!! INFLATION….even worse STAGFLATION…rising in price of all products without income expanding…not good..not good…what has happened to the government??? people's income remains at the same level for almost a year and Malaysia are quite highly dependent on foreign investment, what if they took away all the wealth out of our country!! No employment!! ***sigh***
rizal: sigh… the bigshots of our government must've really knew the consequences of their actions, having them to lead such a big country. it's a huge responsibility and it's certainly disappointing if they don't know what they're doing.
one question: if condition forces you to NOT work in Malaysia, will you follow the money or follow patriotic decision?
I have so many things to write about Tun and Pak Lah. But I have to wait until my exam is over
I am not particularly worried about the inflation and unemployment problem in Malaysia because those are cyclical problems part and parcel of economic business cycle. I am more worried about how the government handle the problem. I mean, it's not like they don't anticipate electricity tariff hike since TNB had been asking for it for years. What they should've done is to make sure that there is a gap between fuel hike and electricity hike. At least give a time lag for people to re-adjust to it.
Another thing, it is OK if the tariff hike is made to cover increasing operating cost i.e. higher fuel prices etc. However, it is not OK if the hike is made to save TNB from bankcruptcy just because those management team did not know how to manage the company. I mean, why should people pay for their mistakes? That is really unfair.
Gosh, I'd better get back to my books
adam: thanks for your analytical comment – this is actually what i anticipate from you and others
your opinions. reading about other people's opinion certainly opens up the mind. agree with the need for "gap" for the increase for the public not to feel the sudden burden…
Salam…
For whatever reason Mirul…
To open-up somebody's AIB is SOOO NOT MY THING and I am UTTERLY AND STRONGLY stand against those kind of acts
The fact is that the thing that MM did was WRONG and WRONG, and WRONG is WRONG and can never be a RIGHT

Now – dont put yourself in MM's shoes, or else you would be comfortable to continue and justify his act…
Put yourself in DSAI's and then only u can feel the pain & the urge to object what MM has done
Hehe…
Price thingy? We should congratulate Malaysians for their 'chosen' government
ihab: iye dear iyeee… i do not agree myself his act of opening up other people's private life, it's just that i mentioned that he has his own personal reasons to justify his actions kan? be the reasons right or wrong – tu urusan dia dengan Tuhan…
and I am ever sooo00ooo amazed with your ability to stress your point and make your point so damn clear. muahaha… bangga dengan ketegasan ko ihab!!! tegas lagii tegasss hohoyeahh…
Salam…
Owh kena ok Tegas MIRUL!!
Kena stand firm with what you believe in!!
Hehehee…
Phoenix Bangkit!! Here I come!!
Hahahaha… –> Hanya Mirul dan aku je paham
